Emily's House in Wind, Rain and Night

Heavily painted and palette knife scored , oil on canvas of Emily Dickinson's Amherst, MA mansion . The poet often painted during the early morning hours. I imagined this grand and gracious home,  weathering wind, rain and night as Emily worked in her rose wallpapered bedroom on the second floor, (far left)
