April Wind and Snow, two panels

“April Wind and Snow” was created during the heavy New England snowstorms of 2025/26. 

The woods, down the steep hill near the artists home, are a source of joy in every season.

The view in deep winter is a favorite. Tall deciduous trees offer their structure and the endless small dramas unfolding each day,

Years ago, one of the tallest skinniest trees— cascaded over - as if it has fainted. 
Understanding dignity and grace, the forest has held onto the fallen comrade for years.
